[Guide to responding to sexual harassment and sexual violence and protecting rights]
This is your natural right. Any workers have the right to be protected from sexual violence. Sexual violence refers to all sexual acts committed against a person's will, such as rape, sexual molestation, and sexual harassment.
※ Emergent workplace change system: Your workplace change is available if you suffer sexual harassment, sexual violence, or violence from your coworker(s) or employer. Particularly, you can change your workplace immediately through the ‘emergent workplace change’ system by the Ministry of Labor and Employment.
If you find the other person's behavior unpleasant, immediately and clearly express your refusal. Your clear expression of refusal will be an important base to the subsequent process of resolving the case.
Do not stand alone and let your trustful coworkers know this fact. It becomes a process of receiving help from those around you while simultaneously securing witnesses and evidence that can later corroborate your words.
If a matter occurs, do not hesitate to call Danuri Helpline or a trade union immediately to get help from an expert.
